If you're reading this, you're already doing something right
Maybe you've been carrying something for a while — a relationship that keeps hitting the same wall, a challenge in your life you didn't ask for, or anxiety that won't quiet down. Maybe you've told yourself it's not "bad enough" to need help, or wondered whether anyone could understand what you're dealing with.
You don't need the right words yet. You don't need to have tried everything else first. Showing up here, reading this page, considering reaching out — that's not weakness. That's you paying attention to yourself.
We built Blue Skies for people exactly where you are: capable, often doing fine on the outside, and still ready for something to feel different. Whatever brought you here, we’re here to help.
We didn't fall into telehealth. We built it this way.
Blue Skies started because access to well-trained mental health care shouldn't depend on your zip code. Maybe you live outside Bend, Portland, or Eugene — in a smaller town, a rural area, or anywhere an in-person office isn't realistic. Or maybe you're right in the middle of one of those cities, but between work travel, kids at home, or a schedule that doesn't leave room for a commute, telehealth still makes more sense. Either way, you deserve care from someone highly trained.
So we built a licensed psychology practice that lives entirely online, serving Oregon residents wherever they are in the state. No waiting room. No commute. No settling for whoever happens to have an office near you.
Online therapy isn't a smaller version of in-person care. Research backs both as equally effective — this is simply a better fit for how many people actually need to access it.
Therapy for relationship issues, gender-affirming care, life transitions, and anxiety
People come to us for a lot of reasons, and rarely just one. A relationship stuck in the same argument, or recovering from something that broke trust. Anxiety that's started running the show. Identity questions — including gender identity and transition-related care — you're ready to explore with someone who won't need it explained from scratch. A diagnosis, a loss, a move into a new life stage nobody prepared you for. Whatever it is, chances are one of our psychologists has spent years working specifically on it.
Care built around you and your relationships
Individual Therapy
Support for the everyday weight of navigating a life that isn't going or feeling the way you planned. Our psychologists tailor treatment to research-backed approaches that fit what you're actually working through — not a one-size-fits-all script.
AREAS WE WORK IN MOST
Identity-affirming care — Identity-affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ and transgender clients, provided by psychologists experienced in this work, not learning on the job.
Anxiety — Support for anxiety that's started running the show, from everyday worry to more persistent patterns.
Life transitions — Grief, illness or new diagnoses, parenthood, divorce, and other major shifts that change how life feels day to day.
Neurodivergence — Support for adults navigating ADHD, autism, and related concerns.
Trauma — Working through past or recent traumatic experiences at a pace that is right for you.
Couples Therapy
Whether you're recovering from a breach of trust, trying to break old patterns before they calcify, or exploring if there is a future, our couples-trained psychologists work with partners who are ready to put in the effort to get there.
AREAS WE WORK IN MOST
Trust and betrayal— Rebuilding after infidelity or broken commitments, at a pace both partners can work with.
Communication patterns— Breaking cycles of the same argument on repeat and learning to actually hear each other.
Major life transitions— Navigating parenthood, career changes, illness, or other shifts that strain a relationship.
Premarital and commitment counseling— Building a strong foundation before a wedding or a big next step.
LGBTQ+ and non-traditional relationships— Support from psychologists experienced with a range of relationship structures and identities.

Common questions about online therapy in Oregon
-
No. Many people start without a clear name for what they're feeling — that's something we help sort out together.
-
Yes. Research consistently shows telehealth therapy is equally effective to in-person care for most concerns.
-
No — psychologists provide therapy, not medication management. If medication becomes part of your care, we can coordinate with a prescriber.
-
That's exactly the kind of situation this practice was built for. We serve Oregon residents statewide, regardless of how close you are to a major metro area.
-
No. Treatment always starts with an initial appointment so you can get a feel of whether it’s the right fit before deciding, with no obligation to continue.
