About Me
Hi and welcome!
I provide empathic, affirming, and strengths-based therapy for individuals and couples. I am passionate about dismantling stigma surrounding mental health, improving access to care, and championing social justice causes. I actively participate in prevention initiatives focused on addressing sexual violence and suicide.
Beyond my practice at Blue Skies, I am involved in research, consultation, and training. Outside of work, I am an avid adventurer! Whether it’s traveling to new places, hiking, biking, or simply spending time with family and friends, I find joy in exploration and connection.
How I Work
My approach is integrative, collaborative, and guided by a feminist-multicultural perspective. My training in both inpatient and outpatient settings has prepared me to work with a diverse range of clients and concerns, including veterans, healthcare workers and first responders, college students, BIPOC and LGBTQ* individuals.
I specialize in treating depression, trauma/PTSD, and grief. I provide evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
I believe that finding the right therapist is an important part of the change process. I would be happy to schedule a phone call to learn whether we might be a good fit!
