About Me

My work is primarily focused on treating anxiety and trauma. I strive to provide respectful, inspiring, and effective care. I know how difficult it can be to ask for help and I never lose sight of the bravery it takes to do this work. I see my role as an advocate, a support, and a disrupter to help you get unstuck and back to living life fully.

Issues important to me include social justice, addressing income disparities, and ensuring access to healthcare for all. Outside of work, I’m a music enthusiast, outdoor explorer, and a basketball fan.

How I Work

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is an evidence-based approach that uses mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies for unhelpful thoughts and painful emotions and uses values clarification and commitment strategies to develop and maintain actions consistent with who we want to be. This work can be especially helpful when upsetting thoughts and painful emotions are getting in the way of purposeful living or when we are uncertain of what we want in life.
